Fourteen games since Logan O'Hoppe touched home plate
The Angels catcher hasn't scored a run in 14 consecutive games. Not one, going back to the first of the month, and he's stayed off the board in 21 of his last 22. Against right-handers it's 16 of his last 19, and Houston is expected to hand the ball to Tatsuya Imai.

The Yankees' shortstop has been a ghost
Thirteen games in a row without crossing the plate, 20 of his last 22 clear of it. Anthony Volpe heads to Chicago against Noah Schultz with his Runs prop at Over/Under 0.5, and the Under is priced -165.
There's no mystery in the sample. He hasn't scored since the middle of the month, and every game in that log was graded at this same 0.5 number, so the record and tonight's bet are the same bet.

Steven Kwan keeps finding a hit, and now the test arrives
A hit in 20 of his last 23, 5 in a row, and 16 of his last 22 against right-handed starters. Kwan does one thing better than almost anybody, which is put the bat on the ball, and the Over 0.5 Hits number at -173 reflects it.
The counterpunch is real, though. Chase Burns is 12-1 with a 2.42 ERA and gets the ball for Cincinnati, and that is the best arm anybody on this list has to solve. Two strong facts pulling opposite directions is what makes it worth watching rather than obvious.

Hao-Yu Lee is the plus price on a minus-money board
Six straight games with at least 2 hits, runs and RBI combined, and he's averaged 3.3 in that stretch. Detroit's second baseman is +150 to do it again against Kyle Bradish.
Almost everything else worth backing tonight costs money. This one pays.

Brandon Marsh can't find a second base
Five in a row held to 1 total base or fewer, and 17 of his last 19 have landed there. Marsh takes his Under 1.5 Total Bases number to Miami at -150 with Tyler Phillips expected to start.
The Phillies outfielder has managed exactly 0 or 1 total bases in each of his last 5. That's not a slump anybody's hiding.
