The second half opens Friday, July 17 with a full 14-game slate, and every prop streak below has been frozen since Sunday. Four days off does strange things to a hot bat. Here's who was rolling when the music stopped.
| Bet | Record | Price |
|---|---|---|
| James Wood Over 0.5 Runs | scored in 10 straight | -144 |
| Nolan Arenado Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI | 14 of last 19 | +110 |
| Corbin Carroll Under 1.5 Total Bases | 17 of last 21 | -125 |
| Brady Singer Over 4.5 Strikeouts | 5+ K in 7 straight | +118 |
| Josh Naylor Over 0.5 Hits | a hit in 8 straight | -185 |
| Alex Bregman Over 1.5 Total Bases | 7 bases last time out | +110 |
Nobody's crossed the plate more reliably than this
10 straight games with a run scored. That's the Nationals outfielder James Wood, who takes a perfect 10-for-10 stretch into Oakland for a 9:40 PM ET start, with Gage Jump expected on the mound. He hasn't just squeaked by either: he's scored twice or more in 4 of those 10. Books have him at -144 to touch home again.
Worth a look: Over 0.5 Runs at -144.
Arenado gets the Cardinals
Some spots write themselves. Arizona acquired Nolan Arenado from St. Louis in January, and tonight the Cardinals walk into Chase Field with Michael McGreevy expected to start. Arenado's been producing: 2 or more Hits + Runs + RBI in 5 straight, and 14 of his last 19, averaging 2.16 in that window. At +110 he's plus money to keep it going against the club that traded him.
Stands out: Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI at +110.
The other side of that lineup has flatlined
Corbin Carroll has been a ghost. Arizona's outfielder has been held Under 1.5 Total Bases in 6 straight and 17 of his last 21, with a whole lot of zeroes in the log. The supporting number is the one that matters: against expected right-handed starters he's been held there in 15 of his last 19, and McGreevy is a righty. Same lineup as the Arenado angle, opposite read, and both have been true all month.
The lean is to the Under at -125.
Singer's strikeouts walk into Coors Field
Brady Singer has punched out 5 or more in 7 consecutive starts, averaging 5.71 in that stretch, and his number tonight is 4.5 at +118. Now the honest part: this one's at Coors Field, where the ball flies and at-bats don't always end in a whiff. That's the tension. The trend says one thing, the altitude says another, and you're getting plus money to decide which matters more. First pitch is 8:40 PM ET.
Could be a value play: Over 4.5 Strikeouts at +118.
Naylor keeps finding grass
A hit in 8 straight. Josh Naylor's been a metronome for Seattle, reaching safely in 17 of his last 22, and 14 of his last 20 against expected righties. Landen Roupp is expected to start for San Francisco at 10:10 PM ET. You're laying -185, which is the tax on a streak this obvious.
Worth a look: Over 0.5 Hits at -185.
About that Bregman game
Here's a genuine coin flip dressed as a trend. Alex Bregman whacked 7 total bases in the Cubs' last game before the break, a 3-hit, 4-RBI afternoon that also produced 9 Hits + Runs + RBI. One game, though. He went into the break with a .695 OPS, the lowest full-season mark of his career, so the question isn't whether he can do it, it's which Bregman shows up after four days off. His Total Bases number is 1.5 at +110, and Minnesota's in town at 8:05 PM ET.
One angle to watch: Over 1.5 Total Bases at +110.
Quick hits
- Garrett Mitchell's had a hit in 7 straight, and 15 of his last 17 against righties (-175).
- Ian Happ hasn't scored a run in 9 games. Not one. His Under 0.5 Runs is -115.
- At +110, Troy Johnston has been held to 1 or fewer Hits + Runs + RBI in 15 of his last 19, and yes, that's a Coors Field Under.
- Mike Trout has put up 2 or more Hits + Runs + RBI in 4 straight, and 6 of his last 7, at +102 in Anaheim.
Streaks don't know the calendar. They also don't survive it forever, and tonight is the first honest test any of these have had since Sunday. Tonight's team trends board covers the game markets, and if a price above looks off to you, our EV calculator will settle it.
